Tree health & care plans
Not every struggling tree needs to be removed.
Thin canopies, dead limbs, poor growth, insects or disease are often symptoms of an underlying problem. Our first step is figuring out why the tree is struggling and whether that problem can reasonably be corrected.
As Certified Arborists, we look at the entire tree and the environment it’s growing in — from the canopy and trunk all the way down to the roots and soil. When a tree is worth preserving, we can develop a care plan based on what that individual tree actually needs.

We believe treatments should have a purpose. We don’t believe in treating a tree simply because something might be there. When treatment is appropriate, we target the specific problem while considering the health of the tree and the surrounding landscape.
Pruning & trimming
Good pruning should solve problems, not create new ones.
A large percentage of the trees we’re eventually called to remove have suffered from years of improper pruning. Topping, excessive thinning, poor cuts and unnecessary canopy removal can lead to decay, weak growth and structural problems that may not show up until years later.
We take a different approach. Our goal is to keep good trees standing by making the right cuts, for the right reasons, at the right time.

Tree removal
Sometimes the right answer is removal.
We’d rather preserve a healthy tree when we reasonably can, but not every tree should be saved. Dead trees, significant decline, structural defects, storm damage, or simply the wrong tree in the wrong place can reach a point where removal is the safest or most practical option.
When removal is necessary, our focus shifts to getting the tree down safely while protecting your home, lawn, landscaping, and everything else you want to keep.

Stump grinding
Taking down the tree doesn’t always finish the job.
When a stump needs to go, we grind it below grade so the area can be reclaimed for grass, landscaping, or whatever you have planned next.

Brush clearing & bush-hogging

Whether it’s thick undergrowth, invasive growth, or an area that simply hasn’t been maintained in years, we can clear unwanted vegetation while working around the trees and landscape you want to keep.

Firewood, split and delivered
Good wood shouldn’t go to waste.
Tree removals produce a lot of usable hardwood. Rather than letting that material go to waste, we process it into firewood, season it, and put it back to good use. Our firewood is a mix of locally sourced hardwood from the tree work we perform throughout our community.

Free mulch
Good material deserves a second life.
Our tree work produces fresh wood chips every day. Rather than sending that material to waste, we offer it free to local homeowners, gardeners and community gardens who can put it to good use. Wood chips make an excellent natural ground cover, helping retain soil moisture, suppress weeds and add organic matter back into the soil as they break down.
How it works
- Mulch is free and delivered when we’re working in your area
- Loads are delivered as-is and may contain a mixture of wood chips, leaves and small twigs
- Send us your address and a photo of where you’d like the load dropped
- Our truck needs enough room to safely back in and unload
- We’ll contact you before delivery
